Checkpoints are the layered depth system. Players descend from the Surface Lake through the Caverns, Mine Shaft, Molten Zone, Lost City, and Abyss to reach the phone.

Mine Shaft adds mining-style deposits and gem nodes that scale into the Molten Zone.
Molten Zone activates environmental heat hazards. Max out Skill Tree nodes before pushing here.
Lost City is the Ancient Runes badge layer. Lore chests spawn here, rewarding higher Gem payouts.
The Abyss is the deepest biome. Once Fully Trained is achieved, the descent to the phone becomes available.
The Phone is the win-state. Reaching it grants the Find My Phone badge.
